A cardiology stethoscope may not be necessary for every routine assessment. MDF® ProCardial® stethoscopes deliver accurate auscultation of heart, lung, and Korotkoff sounds with acoustic integrity and clarity. Engineered for detailed heart and lung auscultation in cardiology clinics, intensive care units, emergency departments, and inpatient or outpatient settings where assessing subtle sounds is important. Choose based on your assessment needs, working environment, and patient population.
MDF® offers stethoscopes for students learning blood pressure measurement and heart, lung, and bowel sound assessment. Lifetime manufacturing-defect coverage and Free-Parts-For-Life™ provide ongoing support beyond school. Before purchasing, confirm your program’s requirements for model, patient size, and chestpiece design.
All MDF® stethoscope models (excluding Singularis™) have a separate bell and diaphragm. The bell is used for low-frequency sounds and the diaphragm is used for higher-frequency sounds. Rotate the chestpiece to activate the desired side, aligning with the green dot indicator, and follow your model’s operating instructions.
